I agree

I agree, but that may be no surprise.
I believe that Drupal is a Community Management System before it is a Content Management system.
It all boils down to the understanding that "Communication" is about more than Managing information - or content. It is about managing relations in a community. Content is part of that. One way information perhaps also. But the 80% of it is managing the inner workings of a group of people who share some common interest, goal or purpose.
