Community Management System

My prediction, within 3 years the acronym "CMS" wont mean "Content Management System" anymore but will be redefined to "Community Management System".

That's not just semantics, I really think that a community is broader then just a bunch of users with some interconnections, it is broader then content and meta content; it is the combination of those two where 1 + 1 is more then 2.

CMS: Community Management System.

I agree

I agree, but that may be no surprise.
I believe that Drupal is a Community Management System before it is a Content Management system.
It all boils down to the understanding that "Communication" is about more than Managing information - or content. It is about managing relations in a community. Content is part of that. One way information perhaps also. But the 80% of it is managing the inner workings of a group of people who share some common interest, goal or purpose.
