DrupalCon Maastricht 2009 proposal is at the Drupal Association

With the sold out DrupalCon Washinton DC getting closer, the community has to plan ahead. That is why the Drupal Association (DA)is looking on how future conferences in the USA should be organised (for example by outsourcing). But the DA is also giving the organizing parties in the EU more time to prepare to rock as hard as possible This year, the DrupalCon EU 2009 will either be held in Paris (France) or Maastricht (Netherlands, nearly Belgium :-) ) And today, the 31/1/09 all proposals should be in.

This posting is to inform you that the Maastricht team did their job and filed their proposal "Connecting the Nodes" towards the DA. The DA will decide if the DrupalSong will be played in Paris or in Maastricht in 2009. Either way, the community can be sure there will be a very good conference in the EU this year, organised by the community for the community. And where-ever the Con will be, we need you as an attendee, as a sponsor, as a speaker and as someone interested in World Domination.

Not official

Bert -- this went to the association list already, but please don't activate / use this account until the proposal is accepted. It makes it confusing for the community, and the way the description of the account is, it makes it sound like it is a done deal.

resolved

thanks, this has been resolved
