GTD (getting Things Done) with Freemind

I have tried multiple tools to "Get Things Done" (wiki). n teh end I just use mindmapping, since it is form me the most logical way to order items.

I started out with >MindNode, lots of eyecandey yet low on useful features. Then I went back to the Open Source FreeMind that I have been using for years. And it worked fine for me! But I still learn from pronovix!

Another Suggestion

I've used Freemind in the past and it's nice (especially for Freeware), but I've recently found and have been enjoying Mind42.com, an online mind mapping site. It's also free and I like the "portability" aspect since I use multiple machines. Just thought I'd throw out the suggestion.

For implementing GTD you can

For implementing GTD you can use this web-based application:

You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar.
A mobile version is available too.

Great presentation, thanks!

Thank you so much for creating this presentation and making it available on-line - like you, I had an epiphany while watching.

I'm new to the concept of mind-mapping (raised and trained on paper lists, which were almost always out of date as soon as they were written). While watching this integration of mind-mapping and GTD I was struck by one very powerful thought: "That's how I keep things in my head! That's how I organize things mentally! And my tools just don't match what's in my mind!"

Gotta go, I have a mind-map to create!
