When I was still a student, I once got home so drunk that it seemed like a fun thing to do to hide my glasses from myself, so I could find them "the next day". Needless to say it was already, "the next day".

So when I woke up I could see my glasses nor could see anything at all, I was getting "pissed" at myself. It took me 3 days to find them, hidden in the freezer...

I seem to have missed one of the current hypes on the net: linerider! Very addictive, draw a line and let the boy ride it. But you have to design it so that they boy doesnt crash. See also linerider.org and the original linerider.com. Lots of videos to learn from at klingt.net and youtube. In the current version there is no undo or eraser, which makes it very hard to draw something cool. See also wikipedias entry on some copycats.

The work of steven is really incredible!

I have a lot of Tuxes in the house, I bought one copy myself some 6 years ago and every Linux conference I attend I pick some from Novell of HP to take away. I always say it is for my doughter, Brecht. Which is true. She likes Tux a lot and in fact it was one of the first words she said (Yes, I know I am sick, I also read The GPL every night for her... )

Now I can make (read: my girlfriend could make) a tux by myself, Free Penguin Project, download free penguin sewing patterns, stuffed penguin and Tux patterns open source.

At compfused.com there are lots of funny videos to be found. Like this cartoonesk skijump to go wrong. Or this extreem drifting with cars on the highway. But I like these extreem low flying planes the best. Only meters above sealevel, wath your six when sailing!

Sinds 1988 heb ik het Asterix virus, als student kocht ik ze een voor een allemaal voor 4.50 gulden bij een tweede hands stripwinkeltje in Groningen (de enige die ook "pardon lul" verkocht). Asterix, geweldig. De britten, de belgen, klasiekers! En natuurlijk, sinds de dood van René Goscinny (de orginele schrijver), was hte niveau al zwaar naar beneden gegaan. Maar de jongste uitgave, "het geheime wapen" is ronduit slecht. Uitgelezen in 10 " (waar ik normaal over een goede asterix die ik al ken ruim een uur kan doen), geen enkele goede grap, onzinnig verhaal en als allerergste, de name van de bard en het dorpshoofd zijn veranderd. Assurancetourix heet nu Kakafonix en Abraracourcix is nu Heroix. Uderzo vindt dat zelf overigens ook niet goed. Ach, doe zelf ook de poll op asterix-obelix.nl of lees fok, de nieuwe asterix zuigt!
