just read an article in the //nrc about a french artist Gilles Barbier. a pice of him is tittled "nursing room" and is dated 2002. it contains life-sized wax figures of superheros from america (including captain america and all american "wonder woman") being old and staying the last days in a nursary room.
it shows in a way the decay of the usoa; superman needs a rolator to move along!
it also gives answer to the question every kid asks: "does superman has to go to the toilet?". i mean, if these heros can grow old and are just nothing more than old man with a cape in a funny costume, sure they pee. just not on the toilet anymore once they reach the age of 80+
see //exibit shames america, //nw.edu and //artnet if you are into this kind of stuff.
willy will: picture himself old, wearing a cape. just becomes me i quess.
