The Van Nelle Factory, built in 1925-31 for the refining and packing processes of coffee, tea and tobacco, is the result of a thorough analysis of technical functions of this specific factory (raw products were taken to the top floor of the factory buildings to move down a floor after each stage of processing) and of improving the social aspects ('human element') of working in a factory and also of an intensive co-operation between the principal (C.H. van der Leeuw, a confirmed theosophist) and the architects J.A. Brinkman (1902-1949) & L.C. van der Vlugt (1894-1936), assisted by architect Mart Stam (18991986) and contractor J.G. Wiebenga (1886-1974), all dedicated to the 'Nieuwe Bouwen' (the Dutch branch of the international Modern Movement).

Truly Rotterdam at its best and a masterpiece of modern industrial heritage as well as a Unesco tentative monument. I /love/ this building and the fact that it has been restored and used by young creative companies. It is a typical example of the "Nieuwe Bouwen" movement in the 1930-ies, designed by -amongst others- Mart Stam.

The Pirate Bay has changed its logo, "Burn money on swedish piracy morons, aka TPB". See ebay. Funny.

Anyhow, if you win this auction you will receive the "honor" of paying your own fare to Stockholm, Sweden, and pay for all your own expenses (i.e. hotel, food, 1337, whatever you're into). You will also get to treat the seller to a nice dinner in town with pleasant conversations about happy times and joy-joy feelings. And yeah, we need something to wash down the food with as well.

At eBay you can place your order for item 6739462231, an IBM Think Pad Laptop .. or is it a Reboot.

Either way the owner was sick of all the blue screens and decided to put a sock and shoe in it.

This IBM Stinkpad -oops I mean Think pad is a 466 mhz laptop that I guarentee will never work. In fact the 100 gig hard drive was removed and reimaged with a sledge hammer. (Hard Drive not included) The 256 RAM have been removed and is my cats new favorite toy. The 14 LCD panel is toast and dont even think of trying to use it.

Nice to know: The womans Leather boot comes free with the laptop.

Let me begin by explaining some very important details, this way I do not get 100's of silly emails asking me to photograph the hind end of some stuffed animals. I DO NOT KNOW crap about these things. This belonged to my ex-wife who had about a 1000 of these Beanie Babies and when she moved, this one box of these got left behind, and now I am selling the goofy little things.

ik geloof al een keer eerder op willy geweest, maar dan met een foto van een fluitketel. nu een gitaar met chroom. heren: als je een foto neemt van een voorwerp om dat te verkopen, doe dit 1) niet naakt 2) zeker niet als je iets fotografeert dat chroom heeft

voor de dames gelden natuurlijk heel andere eisen
