Every time I used a JAVA app on my mac that sends sound to the speakers, It sounded bad, distorted. At least on my iMac, not on my mini or either of my Macbooks.

Turns out that Adobe might be the bad one changing some Java libraries. When surfing aound I found many peopel having the same problem and in the end the solution, or at least an easy fix.

Find in the Utilities directory under Programs the application "Audio Midi Setup" (might have a different name when using localised Mac OSX). And set the input and output sampling to 44.1 kHz.

Solved my problem.

Today, Mediamosa has been released. It is hard to describe what it does, but the picture above should give you a hint..

It is not easy to understand or easy to install, but please give it a try on your localhost if you are into Media (management) and Drupal. Many broadcasters are already looking at this in the Netherlands. Great job!
