I have been blogging about Democracy player (watch TV over the internet) before. And now they have a less bloated "baby" version of their player for Windows, Mac and Linux. It’s a Democracy Player!

We are excited to release Baby Democracy Player (version 0.8.4) today, for Windows, Mac, and Linux. Baby Democracy is our first child, the first stage in a growing Democracy Player to come! We’ll let you know when Democracy Player becomes a toddler, a schoolkid, etc. (We’ll have pictures soon!) Baby Democracy is more stable and faster too, it’s a strong and healthy baby!

Female Stormtroopers!

I'm not a huge fan of cosplaying and geekdom of that route. But I love Star Wars. I love Stormtroopers. I love cute, geeky women. This picture has all of those things. They're not hot supermodel women but they have that cute chick-geek quality. I think they look pretty good in those suits. haha. But the best part are the midriff tit-contoured breast armor on the suits! That's what really makes the picture for me.

Jeugdsentimenten heeft het over: Willy DobbeNiet iedereen zal meteen weten over wie dit gaat, maar Willy Dobby was begin jaren zeventig toch wel bijna nét zo populair als Mies Bouman.
Zij was destijds omroepster bij de TROS en presenteerde verder het Eurovisie Songfestival vanuit het RAI-Congrescentrum in Amsterdam (1970).
Ook werd zij legendarisch door het spectaculaire ‘Zevensprong’ (1971), een soort ‘Spel zonder grenzen’. Zij presenteerde dit samen met Jan Theys. De uitzending waarin Jan uitgleed en tot zijn grote ongenoegen tussen de Venetiaanse gondels in het water belande met zijn microfoon nog aan (hij vreesde voor electrocutie) is bij veel mensen blijven hangen.
Met Herman Emmink (Wie van de Drie) presenteert zij in 1980 nog 'Nederland 35 jaar vrij'. Wat mij zelf nog bijstaat van Willy Dobby was haar mooie warme stem en natuurlijk het Willy Dobbeplantsoen. Deze komt in verschillende programma's van Wim T. Schippers in de jaren tachtig als centrale plaats terug.
