Some Drupal Quickies

A few quickies/linkdumping regarding one of the best CMS'es out there, Drupal. The Onion, a very good parody news site, recently switched to Drupal for managing their content. And as we know, Drupal is very very Search Engine Optimized, so when you know google for the word the, you will find something like 8,660,000,000 hits (or more, pending google dance). And the number one hit you will find, above the whitehouse, the Economist is... The Onion. SEO companies, eat your hart out.

In other news, urlgreyhot from the Lucent Information Architect Michael Angeles has been running Drupal for long and is one of the best personal Drupal sites out there. He recently described the proces of crearing his new layout. And while you are at his site, be sure to check out his mini icons.

A page that every Drupaler should follow is the one about new mocules and on "onofficial" repository here as well. When you dont want a module but just some PHP code, be sure to check out these sniplets. On planetSOC (google's "Summer of Code program

is a nice article on how to get started with Drupal, the bleeding CVS way.

Ooh, and while I was egosurfing I found this one as well. I liked co-organising the DrupaCON so much that if we will hit The netherlands again next year (Haarlem instead of Amsterdam?), I'll step forward again.
