Renew your Drupal Association Membership

If you are a member of the Drupal Association (and thereby helping the community and showing off you care about the community) you might want to check if you should renew your yearly membershipssfee! If it has been more then a year since you have paid, you should remove the cool "member" badges from your site! Or.... you could renew your membership at the association site!

Please do check to see if your membership is up for renewal and wear your badge with pride! Your financial support is important for the community.

er...

Well, I will do as you say, Bert. But some thoughts come to my head reading your post. With due respect for voluntariness and freedom of choice regarding the license fee: the Association should at least send out a reminder E-Mail to everyone who is a member. There are some things that don't really go round concerning becoming and being an assiciation member. If you read this post http://www.drupalcenter.de/node/9978 (sorry, german). User XiongShui desperately tried to become a member and did only succeed because of his determination.

If I go to http://association.drupal.org/membership, I don't find a button or even Textlink "become a Member now".

So by improving upon this, the number of members could easily double, and if my calculating skills are right, 500 additional members will gain us 15000 Dollars which should be enough to pay the programmer to do the tweaking of the page.

Sorry for the tone of my comment, but this really has to improve. I volunteer to provide a layout for the page to make the process easier.

dissolve when done?

I want to renew, but where can i see when my membership expires ? Is it still active or not.
Will it dissolve when done, will i be mailed before the end .... how will it go ?

tnx for reminding

Joachim

Out of 753 only one has not renewed

We are just into our third month of annual renewals for Drupal association memberships. According to my records, only one out of 753 members has chosen not to renew. I believe that an email is sent when your renewal date arrives. Either that, or we have spectacularly attentive members who know when to renew.

I'll look into the problems referenced below. We are tuning and tacking membership problems as they arise in order of priority.

Kieran
